New Pregnancy Referral System at St Mary’s Hospital

The maternity service at St Mary’s Hospital will be introducing their new digital maternity system, BadgerNet Maternity, during the week beginning the 20 September 2021. This system will digitise the maternity record all the way from initial antenatal booking through to recording postnatal maternity care; it will also allow women to refer themselves for maternity care via a new online portal and have access to their record via a mobile app and website. Hampshire Hospitals, University Hospital Southampton and Queen Alexandra Hospital Portsmouth have already gone live with the same system.

From the 20 September 2021 there is a new Single Point of Access portal, and women wishing to receive maternity care at St Mary’s Hospital should refer themselves through this portal:

Please note that any women who do not wish to continue with their pregnancy should not self-refer through the portal, but instead make an appointment with their GP.
